pretty complicated to set up at first, but once you set it up you’re good to go. some of the instructions are unclear.. like when you want to change the times, the instruction manual says to tap the button, but you have to hold it until it beeps. and you can’t do anything unless you unlock it first, which you have to hold the bottom left button until it beeps twice. when the screen times out after 3 minutes but you want to change something again, you have to unlock it again. fyi, 5 portions is about 1/4 a cup. ��
Have had this feeder for almost a week and I’m really happy with it. Set up was fairly easy, and so far seems to be running fine. Setting the portion size to 5 will give you about 1/4 cup of food. My cats are trained to only eat out of “their” bowl. Since the bowl portion on this feeder is detachable, was able to slide his bowl under the dispenser and it works fine. I did turn off the voice feature, I really think that was scaring them. Now it’s so quiet, the only sound you hear is the food dropping in the bowl.
It was a little hard setting it up but looked up a YouTube video and it was good to go! It’s great that you can adjust times and amount of food that comes out. Saves time on me not having to refill the bowl each time. My dog seems to enjoy it as well!
This is so convenient. I had a baby and bought this for when I'm too busy to feed the dog on time or when I'm at work or not home. It works so well but my dog figured out the food is in the top...so she will sit and paw and scratch at it all day. Drives me nuts. But a great investment.
It is such a very nice pet food dispenser.No need to worry if you forget to put food while away from work.It is portion controlled, my pet won't have to eat too much more than is required.Easy to use and clean as well. A nice gift for friends and relative who has a pet.I absolutely recommend this.
